Luminari For Sale At Red Cross

 FREEPORT -- Luminaria will light the sidewalks along Freeport’s Stephenson Street and Lincoln Boulevard beginning at dusk Sunday, Dec. 18 for the FHN Festival of Trees Luminary Night. 

The American Red Cross Northwest Illinois Chapter is offering luminary kits as part of its “Save the Day” campaign. The kits include white bags stamped with a tree topped by a red cross in two sizes – 11 inches and 17 inches tall – and a small candle for each luminary. The 17-inch kits are $2 each or six for $10 and the 11-inch kits are $1 each or six for $5.
 
(The minimum purchase for either size is six kits.) Proceeds from the sale of the kits will support the chapter’s “Save the Day” campaign. The kits are available at the chapter office, 224 W. Galena Avenue in Freeport. For more information on the luminaria kits or the “Save the Day” campaign, call the American Red Cross Northwest Illinois Chapter at 815-233-0011.
