The American Red Cross Northwest Illinois Chapter holds blood drives every other month at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2600 W. Pearl City Road, Freeport.

From 1 to 5 p.m., July 22, at the Warren Community American Legion Hall, Warren, Ill.

The Northwest Illinios Chapter raised its first-ever Red Cross flag along with the American flag on its front lawn Saturday, May 16, Armed Forces Day, in front of a crowd of 45 onlookers, most with tears in their eyes.
